The Adventure Out Loud Difference
The world’s true beauty isn’t captured by popular tourist attractions. True beauty is found by immersing one’s self in new community, culture and language and finding a way to make a difference in someone else’s life.
50% of our profits are donated to keep disadvantaged children in school.
Our Team
Our team of local and Western guides are passionate about creating unique, personalised travel experiences that make a difference in the lives of our adventurers and in the communities we visit.
Whether it’s climbing the highest free-standing mountain in the world or volunteering in Africa’s largest slums, our team is unified in our passion for adventure and making a difference.
Nate Taiaroa
Founder & Tour Leader
Nate is an Aussie with an enthusiastic addiction for life and an incredible thirst for adventure.
Nate first set foot in Africa in 2008 after the passing of his mum. Since his first trip, Nate has travelled, lived or volunteered in more than 40 countries, across 4 different continents, many of which are in Africa.
From 2013 - 2015, Nate lived in Arusha, Tanzania and volunteered at the School of St Jude. After leaving St Jude, he founded Adventure Out Loud to combine his passion for travel and making a difference. Today, Nate guides most of our Australian led tours. He also runs our office and likes to spend most of his time inspiring people to explore Africa and fight poverty through education.
Robert “bobby” woiso
Head Kilimanjaro Guide
With more than 20 years experience on Mt Kilimanjaro, you’re in safe hands with Bobby.
Bobby started Kilimanjaro as a porter and with hard work become the head guide for G Adventures. Later, Bobby started his own trekking company, realising he he was more passionate about trekking Kilimanjaro than sitting in an office.
Bobby's “one love” approach to life inspires everyone around him. In our opinion, Bobby serves and connect his trekkers and Wagumu (Swahili for "stong mountain warriors" aka porters) better than anyone on Kilimanjaro and over the years, Bobby has done an incredible job of nurturing a group of talented guides who will make sure your Kilimanjaro experience is unforgettable.
